Epic Scenery, Family Friendly Glide from glacier runs to quiet forest trails and lively snowparks on this independent Switzerland ski escape, with alpine views and time to unwind.
Trip Overview:
Discover the alpine rhythm of Laax on this seven-day winter escape to Switzerland’s vibrant Graubünden region. After a scenic rail and bus journey from Zurich, settle into Laax, a village that blends contemporary Swiss design with high-altitude charm. Your base is the Riders Hotel, perfectly placed for exploring the mountains.
Each day offers a new perspective of the Alps. Trace the Classic Laax Loop from Flims to Nagens with sweeping views and satisfying descents. Carve your way down the Vorab Glacier's broad red and black pistes, or opt for a freeride session to tap into Laax’s wilder side.
Freestyle lovers can dive into one of Europe’s top terrain parks or hone their skills at the indoor Freestyle Academy. Quieter adventures await in Falera, where tree-lined trails and hidden runs offer a slower pace and fewer crowds. Along the way, rustic alpine huts like Berghaus Nagens and Stalla serve up hearty mountain fare, while Laax village tempts with fondue evenings and mellow après scenes.
Whether you’re chasing powder, park lines, or peaceful vistas, Laax delivers it with flair. Round off with spa time, your favourite runs, and one last panoramic glide before heading back to Zurich. This is a winter break that balances adrenaline with ease, wrapped in Swiss precision and alpine soul.
